Todtnau is located in the southern Black Forest, in the border triangle between Germany, France and Switzerland.
Take the A5 motorway from Karlsruhe to Basel until the Freiburg-Mitte exit, then via Schauinsland or Kirchzarten, Oberried, Notschrei and in Todtnau towards Feldberg and to the signposted parking areas in Brandenbergstrasse.
Or follow the A81 motorway Stuttgart-Bodensee to the motorway junction Bad Dürrheim, Titisee, Feldberg and in Todtnau to the signposted parking lots in Brandenbergstraße.
Arriving by train:
Todtnau is not directly connected to the German rail network . However, you can still easily reach us in the Black Forest by train. In Freiburg, Kirchzarten, Zell, or Titisee, you can transfer from the train to an SBG bus that will take you directly to Todtnau.
